Holy crap! Did Obama senior advisor David Axelrod just endorse Mitt Romney? http://t.co/enwPUbum h/t @zacmoffat — Kevin Eder (@keder) April 15, 2012 Transcript: “The choice in this election is between an economy that produces a growing middle-class and that gives people a chance to get ahead and their kids a chance to get ahead and an economy that continues down the road we’re on.” Hi @DavidAxelrod, in your esteemed opinion, who exactly is to blame for 'the road we're on?' The SITTING PRESIDENT perhaps? — Kevin Eder (@keder) April 15, 2012 Hi @EricBoehlert, care to comment on @DavidAxelrod's endorsement of [More]
"Evolution of Mom Dancing" with Michelle Obama (@FLOTUS) http://t.co/kV4PjkRMsY #momdancing #letsmove — jimmy fallon (@jimmyfallon) February 23, 2013 Wow. We’d heard a little bit about the first lady’s campaign against childhood obesity during President Obama’s first term, but most of the noise came from hungry kids who found their incredible shrinking school lunches coming up short. With four long years ahead, it looks like the “Let’s Move” campaign has found a second wind. Big Bird teamed up with Michelle Obama to shoot some PSAs, and now the cartoonish Jimmy Fallon is playing the puppet in “Evolution of Mom Dancing.” How [More]
"government" is just a word for things we do together. Like pay college kids to stage rape videos in fruit costumes http://t.co/PC8fbTtay1 — David Burge (@iowahawkblog) March 18, 2014 No, it’s not rape videos, it’s grape videos. Once you’ve visited Fruved.com and clicked on a video, you’ll understand the need for the disclaimer, “No federal dollars were spent in the making of these videos.” After seeing the IRS’ Star Trek training video, it’s hard to tell just what the federal government will pay for. Hysterical: http://t.co/RrnBenSl99 suddenly adds disclaimer about government funding. #IowahawkGetsResults — David Burge (@iowahawkblog) March 18, 2014 [More]
Ever since the first Twilight movie, vampires have re-entered our culture in a big way. What is it about pale people with slightly larger canines that intrigue us so? It may seem like this is a new phenomenon, but actually people have had an obsessive fear of vampires for centuries. It wasn’t just stories for people back in the day either, here are some actual people that were rumored to be vampires. Watch out, these stories may be the next Hollywood blockbusters. 1.) So, can we all agree that this year's, "But How Was The Play, Mrs. Lincoln" Award goes to Kathie Lee Gifford, hands down? — Kenneth Robert Marlo (@KRMarlo) May 31, 2012 There are some common unsaid rules when it comes to preparations for an interview. One of them is research. It usually helps to know what the person you’re interviewing is currently working on, what’s lined up for them in the future, and it’s best to gather up a few personal details. This can all avoid the embarrassment Kathie Lee Gifford went through while interviewing actor Martin Short yesterday. If [More]

Avi Gandhi is more than just a store owner. He’s a good friend to his loyal customers in Levittown, Long Island. Times were tough for Avi, who works 7 days a week. This forced him to miss important moments with his family, like when his wife Bharati battled cancer last year. As sales declined, he could barely afford to pay his rent and was getting worried that he might have to close his store. He didn’t want to become another failed business in the neighborhood strip mall. Avi had no idea what surprise his loyal customers had in store. On what [More]
First of all: don’t leave your animals in the car. Not only does it make them restless, but it can be dangerous. This hilarious dog was clearly fed up with waiting in a car. He wanted to get home and take a nap, but his owner was taking way too long in the grocery store. Instead of continuing to wait, this little guy took matters into his own paws in the most adorable way possible. It’s the cutest case of road rage I’ve ever seen.  (Source: Cole Taylor) You can bet your life this dog has done this many times before. I wonder where he learned this [More]
