Back in February of 2015, a man stepped onto his porch and came across something awful. Lying motionless under the iron railing was a lifeless cat, and because temperatures were dangerously low, the poor thing was practically frozen. He feared the worst, but when he saw the kitten’s paw move, he knew that there was hope. He quickly wrapped her up and brought her inside. After a while, the brave feline — now fittingly named Elsa — came back to life. Now that temperatures have dropped, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for stray animals in need. It’s hard [More]
Hooray, skiing is so much fun. Well not for this little guy. A day of hitting the slopes with his family took a toll on this kid so while he was waiting for the slow ones of the pack to finish their run he decided to take a power nap, on his feet. Somehow he managed not to get disturbed by the skiers swooshing around him and by the family filming them, but what’s most impressive is how he kept his balance while sound asleep… well, at least up until the very end, LOL. One of the funniest videos I’ve [More]
These two must be the world’s strangest dance partners, but at the same time, you have to admit they are one of the cutest as well. She is Alla Novikova, a Russian dance studio owner who performed last year on America’s Ballroom Challenge on PBS, but when they introduced her partner I was speechless. With his little sparkly tux and mannerisms of a gentleman and a ballroom pro, this tiny dancer stole the show during their exhibition dance performance. When you see the crowd react you’ll see why saying “They loved it” is an understatement. goviralhasPoppedUp = false; // create [More]

Morissa Pena, a waitress at Hooters in Phoenix, Arizona, had a remarkable experience with a homeless man named Rick. Her story quickly went viral after she posted it to Facebook with a few pictures of Rick. Today when I pulled into work, I happened to glance into my rear view mirror and notice this man sitting on a curb across the street. His name is Rick. I walk up to him and ask if he’s okay…he barely mumbled a “no” and looked down and started sobbing. I asked if he was hungry…he said “very.” I helped him off the ground [More]
Would you slow down if you were driving towards what looked like a floating pedestrian crossing? We certainly would, and India’s transport minister Nitin Gadkari hopes that millions of other people will too. That’s why he’s proposing the use of these 3D paintings as an alternative form of speed-breaker. And as you can see from the pictures below, these optical illusions are sure to catch your attention. “We are trying out 3D paintings used as virtual speed breakers to avoid unnecessary requirements of speed breakers,” Gadkari said in a tweet recently. The idea comes after a decision was made earlier [More]
Pikelet and Patty Cakes are two rescue dogs that haven’t forgotten what it means to be orphaned. That’s why they take such good care of other orphaned puppies (and sometimes even ducks!) that their humans foster on behalf of Wollongong Animal Rescue Network Inc. Their newest “foster bro” is a puppy called Potato. He was one of seven 5-week-old puppies taken from their mum to be sold at a pet store. He and his siblings had wounds, worms, mange and fleas. They were also weak and dehydrated. But as you can see from these adorable pictures, Pikelet and Patty Cakes [More]
Elizabeth Laird — known as “The Hug Lady” — has made it her personal mission to hug every returning soldier in the Fort Hood community. Since 2003, Laird has hugged around 500,000 soldiers. But the warriors who love her recently got some bad news. Laird, who has been battling breast cancer for years, was just hospitalized due to complications. Her son put up a GoFundMe page to help pay for her medical expenses. They set a goal of $10,000, and within a week, they received over $74,000! It’s great to see these soldiers show their appreciation for one of their [More]
